Joseph Santucci

Joseph Cesidio Santucci Sr., 74, of 529 Maxwell Avenue died at 11:20 p.m. Thursday in Ohio Valley Hospital.  He had been ill five months and a patient 11 days.  He was born June 27, 1884, in
Pettorano sul Gizio, Province of Aquila, Italy, the son of the late

Angelo and Maria Liberate Fratorelli Santucci.  He came to the United States in 1900.  Mr. Santucci formerly operated the Central Grocery.  He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Order of the Sons of Italy of America Christopher Co1umbus Lodge No. 472.  He was married to the former Agnes Anzuini March 17, 1905, in Steubenville.  Mr. Santucci leaves his widow; one son, Joseph Santucci Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Acerra of Wintersville, and Miss Anna  Mary Santucci, Miss Antoinette Santucci, Mrs. Ida De Sarro and Miss Gilda Santucci, all at home; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.  One daughter, three sons, one brother, Vincent Santucci, and two sisters, Mrs. George Di Vittorio and Mrs. Rocco Cicone, preceded him in death.  Friends may call at the Mosti Funeral Home after 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  Funeral High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Church.  Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
